Aluminum-strontium master alloy with 10% strontium is used to modify the silicon eutectic structure in aluminum-silicon casting alloys. Strontium added as rod or ingot refines the structure and improves the mechanical properties and ductility of cast parts. Exact strontium content and a Certificate of Analysis are provided on request.
